Even if you are brand new to the wonderful world of online marketing and blogging, you’ll no doubt have heard the term SEO. It stands for Search Engine Optimization, and for anyone who is going to run a website it’s absolutely vital that you have an SEO friendly website. The problem is that depending on when you got into marketing online, your understanding of what works might differ entirely from what actually does.
This is because of two key reasons: -SEO is one of the worst areas in online marketing for misinformation and people creating a lot of nonsense that is, usually, based on either black hat methods or short-term workarounds that will damage your websites credibility in the long-term -SEO has gone through some specific changes in the last few years due to the various Google updates. The algorithms, how it reads sites, and what it is looking for have all changed completely Whilst search engine optimization was once built on keyword spamming and building links with any and all websites that you could, it’s far more refined today. Today it’s built on the principles that should actually matter in the first place which are: -Is the content good enough? -Is it genuine? -Does it read well? These three points are the main things that determine your SEO rankings these days. Natural use of keywords, getting shared on social media and other webpages, and having viable links to high-PR (Page Rank, but that’s for another day!) websites are some of your viable options for boosting your SEO rating. So, why is SEO actually important to you? If you are just getting started out in the online world, it’s a little like starting a brand new video game. You go into a huge online world, and you have nothing – no abilities, no money, no credibility. You start off online in much the same way – you have nobody backing up your credentials and have to build a reputation from scratch. Thankfully, authority can be gained in the online world by using SEO. Put that knowledge and passion for the industry you intend to work in to the test and write some strong content. Write it naturally, and ensure that the keywords are only used in the most natural of positions throughout the article. Creating content in this manner will, in time, move you up the rankings. The higher up you are, the more seriously that you will be taken by Google. This can be the budding path to creating authority. Authority, in turn, creates trust and trust ultimately equals valuable customer relationships and sales. Without SEO and proper management of it, your site no matter how great is dead on arrival. Start out by creating content that is genuinely helpful for users and hustling for links from authority sites and you will eventually earn enough credibility to position yourself as an authority in your field and reap the benefits of such positioning. Mastering SEO is incredibly challenging, but essential to your online success. If anyone has any unique SEO tips or hacks to share, feel free to leave a comment. It is often said that one shouldn't judge by looks, however if you're opting to create one of the most important things for your brand in deciding how to design your logo, then it is important to make sure that your logo best represents your business. Your logo is the immediate indicator of you, the "face" of your business and an effective logo will help viewers retain a snapshot of your brand. Think of the most iconic logos you know of and what makes them standout. Here are five simple concepts every person needs to consider when designing unforgettable logos:
1. Colors Something that isn't mentioned often is the color of your logo. Colors themselves carry distinctive and varied meanings. Red is often associated with strength or passion and is an intense color, Blue is typically tied to stability and so on. See more here for yourself. Color has a massive effect on the perception of your logo and by extension, your brand. 2. Style Consider what style of logo you want, you could go for a flashier design like Aston Martin or take a minimalist approach like Facebook. It's important to have your audience in mind while developing your logo and this isn't solely related to this step, a good trick is to put yourself in your audience's shoes and hypothesize their reaction/perceptions. You're not forced to follow the crowd, just make sure if you do to instill some of "you" in it (more on this in a bit). 3. Imagery and Symbols When including images or symbols into your logo, go for things that relate in some fashion to your content whether directly, discreetly or metaphorically. It goes without saying not to blatantly copy more established or popular acts (it is a good way to get sued if you're into that, but for the sake of your money I still recommend against it). 4. Self-Representation It is more attractive to your audience to see another layer of your personality or content reflected through your logo whether directly (using distinctive indicators like your face, things you like, etc.) or indirectly (using indicators such as symbols, letter style, etc.). Yes consider your audience but more importantly, consider your own taste(s) it is your brand after all. 5. Don’t Be Afraid of Change Remember that just because you've created and established a certain logo or image doesn't mean that you're beholden to it forever. As times change, we sometimes change and so does our taste in what we find appealing or representative of ourselves. Now don't go and think this is a pass to change your logo every 3 months; my ballpark would be give or take 2-3 years on the low end if you're looking to switch and this is particularly if your logo is already established. Developing a logo isn't technically essential, but as many companies, corporations, blogs and so on can attest to, a visual codifier can be a huge boon in retaining the mindshare of your brand. If you have any extra tips not mentioned here? Feel free to leave a comment. There is so much material on the Internet regarding Internet marketing. If someone tries to digest all of this information at one time, they will experience a bad case of online marketing indigestion. Not exactly a good feeling to have and I’ve had these feelings before as well. While the prospect of becoming the go-to big shot for all things Internet sounds enticing, the solution to this issue is to narrow your focus down to one niche.
It is much easier to become an expert and build authority in one area than it is for multiple. There are countless ways to make money in the world today. You can make money in real estate, the stock market, by owning your own brick-and-mortar business and numerous other ways. But the people who really do well in this world financially are known primarily for one core area of expertise. What do you focus on? Many things or one thing? Find something you like doing and become an expert at it. It sounds easy, but the trick is finding something you like doing that is profitable financially and this is the secret to making money on the net. If there is a market for your product, you can sell it. Do a search on google and see how many results your area of focus will bring up. If you use keywords, you will get better results. The more targeted the results the better. It is easy to develop a product when you are an authority in that area because you know something that your buyers or audience don't. You are the expert and they are not. They will pay large sums of money to acquire your expertise. As marketers and content creators we must understand that our time is extremely valuable and the more we focus on too many things, the more time is wasted. Time that could be better spent focusing on one niche. It takes time to study what your niche market wants. After you discover what they want, give the people what they desire. If your friends want Little Caesars Pizza and you get them McDonald's, they’re probably not going to be all that happy. In the same way, if you give your target market something different then what they are asking for they will find someone that can deliver their needs. So make the best use your time and learn what your target market wants. Once you have determined what they want, if you do not already have a product build around their needs create one. Remember what they have told you and use their feedback as your blueprint to create a great information product. As an authority in your niche, people look to you to provide the answers to the questions regarding your area of expertise. You answer their questions with your products. You can also become qualified as an expert by creating a blog about your niche and having your readers post their questions on your blog. People have no problem supporting a product when they trust the person they are buying from. A blog is a great, simple way to create an atmosphere of trust. You can get to know your customers on your blog and they can get to know you, establishing a relationship where both parties benefit. No matter how many ideas or ideas for niches you have, the most important thing is to implement them. Don’t sit around reading about a dozen niches, focus on a (profitable) niche that you enjoy and take action. With time and perseverance, one niche can definitely make you rich. If you have any experience with deciding niches or how you yourself benefited from focusing on a specific niche, feel free to leave a comment. Do you find yourself wondering why people don’t seem excited to buy your product? Yet your competition is making money hand over fist from sales? Even worse, why no one can’t even bother to opt-in to your form and subscribe to your free newsletter? At this point, you may think that people just aren’t interested in buying your product or you’ve priced it wrong.
Stop what you’re doing and think for a second because I have news, it’s likely not the product at fault here. Sometimes your own sales letter can be the thing that kills your business. You've got some words in there that mixes with people like oil and water. Obviously your target audience and context matters, but generally when people come across these words in a sales pitch they are compelled to do the opposite of what you want and I’d wager you don’t want that. So, what are these dreadful words you should shy away from in your sales letter? 1) “Learn” This will remind people back in the old days where they had to study in grade school. Nobody wants to squeeze their brain out and learn something new on the Internet and if they do, using “learn” is a boring descriptor. People are busy, information on the Internet is just too huge and half of it is crap in sheep’s clothing. Nowadays, people want fast, ACTIONABLE information. Instead of using the word ‘learn’, it is better to use the word ‘discover’. Doesn’t this sound a lot better, “Discover 10 Easy Tips To Improve Your Golf Swing.” 2) “Tell” You don’t have to use this word to explain the benefit of your product. People will not listen to you if they don’t recognize you and moreover, people will likely believe you’re blowing smoke. Study these two statements carefully, “Let me tell you the secrets of becoming a millionaire” or “Let me reveal to you the secrets of becoming a millionaire.” Which one do you think will make people opt-in to your newsletter? 3) “Things” Using this word will not make your sales letter sound astonishing. It makes the sales letter boring to read and non-descriptive. Instead of using the word ‘things’, consider revising it to ‘tips’, ‘tricks’ or ‘techniques’. “Get access to these 5 great tips right away” is far better than “Get access to these 5 great things right away.” Use quantifiable words that inspire action. 4) “Stuff” This word is what most marketers used to describe how great the product is. Just like “Things” it is to general, again you want to tell people what they’re going to get. If you change it to ‘Insider Secrets’, this will give people an urge to act right away. Consider these statements “Click here to download your 5 stuffs” or “Click here to download your 5 powerful insider secrets.” Which one are you more likely to click? If you can generally steer clear of these 4 words, while it won’t guarantee any sales explosion, it will definitely help your sales messages look a lot more attractive to your followers and target traffic. Don’t neglect the power of specifics and how it mixes with a good sales letter. If you have any additional words to avoid or tips to share, feel free to leave a comment. Internet marketing is exciting and highly rewarding as well as challenging and confusing. It can make or break your internet business success and yet many people who depend on internet marketing don’t fully grasp the essentials. In fact, many internet entrepreneurs waste a lot of time, energy, money and momentum because they don’t fully ‘get’ internet marketing, often through no fault of their own with all the information out there. Don’t let this lack of understanding undermine your income potential. In order for you to better understand internet marketing and its impact on your internet business you must have the answers to these three key questions: What Is Internet Marketing? What Is The Cost Of Internet Marketing? What Is The Benefit of Internet Marketing?
What Is Internet Marketing? Marketing is pretty simple. Marketing is communication about an idea, product, service, or organization. Marketing therefore encompasses advertising, promotion and sales as well as the various techniques and forms of communication used to advertise, promote and sell. Marketing extends further than simple advertising or promotion in that it includes researching the market to learn what consumers want and then setting out to meet their needs with the appropriate product, price, and distribution method. Marketing includes market research, deciding on products and prices, advertising, promotion, distribution, and selling. Marketing also covers all the activities involved in moving products and services from the source to the end user including making customers aware of products and services, attracting new customers to a product or service, keeping existing customers interested in a product or service, and building and maintaining a customer base for a product or service. Internet marketing includes these same activities but also pulls in various internet tools including web sites, email, ezines, banner advertising, blogging, RSS, text links, SEO, affiliates, autoresponders, and other applications. What Is The Cost Of Internet Marketing? The range of expenses for internet marketing is huge, especially if you don’t know where to look. There are a number of promotional and marketing ventures that can cost you nothing or only pennies a day while other advertising efforts can cost you thousands a day. It is important to consider your goals — both long-term and short-term — as well as how much each prospective customer is worth to you. This will help you determine a workable budget for your internet marketing campaign. The idea is to be efficient with your means. Many internet promotions are free, you can set up a web site and/or blog for $200 a year, and you can buy text links for $10 a month. You could easily spend $25-50 a day for advertising depending on what you’re going for but there are many cheaper ad options available. The best program is to start small and cheap and slowly build as you test and learn what is successful for your niche and product. There is no perfect solution that works wonders for everyone. Each marketer and each product has a different formula that generates results for them. What Is The Benefit of Internet Marketing? Internet marketing offers more benefits than many traditional marketing mediums. The very nature of web sites and blogs is that they continue working to promote and market your product long after your initial marketing effort is over. Similarly many advertising efforts, such as ezines, newsletters, banners, and text links also continue to increase in power over time. Email marketing can be a tremendous asset for contact management and sales and offers the ability to personalize your message as well as reach a targeted audience so your chance for sales goes up exponentially. The other tremendous benefit of internet marketing is that it offers convenience and immediate satisfaction. Customers see your marketing message when it is convenient for them — and often when they are seeking information about your topic. Then you offer them the ability to act on that interest right then. Look at it like this, they can locate your product and buy in the time it would take to watch a commercial on television or turn a page in the newspaper. That is the power of internet marketing. Now that you have the answers to these three key questions, you are ready to begin your own internet marketing campaign — and succeed with your internet venture. If you have anything to share as it relates to Internet Marketing, feel free to leave a comment. In the world of (Internet) Marketing there is so much information out there, some of which are true, others not so much and then there are those that are just mythical in that on surface it seems like good advice but the reality is your results can be so much better. With that said, I have three common marketing myths that can cause you to lose out on sales if you base your decisions around them. So if you want to see better results and boost your sales, read on.
Myth 1. People buy a product at the cheapest price they can find. This is an easily identifiable one, why? Because I believed it once and the fact is, this is just not true. There is a reason we have luxury brands after all so people surely like paying top dollar for stuff. Even in light of the ease of research that the internet affords – let’s tell it like it is, buyers are generally lazy and often don’t fully research. Believe it or not, many times people buy a product at a higher price even when cheaper options are clearly available. Now what causes people to buy? Why ‘buying triggers’ of course, the most common being:
Busting Myth 1: Establish your credentials – for example, I have over 5 years of marketing experience so I have a good idea of what works and what does not when launching an online business. Look for ways to enhance the perceived value of your product or service either by providing exclusive incentives or clearly demonstrating the value the consumer will gain from its purchase. Always try to nab some recommendations for your product/service within your sales letter. People rely on fellow consumers like themselves and want to hear about what others are saying about your product. Even if you’re new and have to handout a limited selection of free copies, something is better than nothing. Make it easy to purchase and receive your product by not introducing any barriers to purchase such as extra forms, obscure or complex payment methods. Myth 2. Offering your customers numerous different options will boost your sales On paper it sounds like people would like choice, but often times when it comes to making a decision it actually works the other way around. When confronted with several options, they (like myself sometimes) often react by either procrastinating or going to a seller who a much clearer product. Now I’m” not saying for you to avoid extras or up sells, just clearly state what is included in the product and don’t offer options that not only confuse but making your selling and processing more difficult. The human mind works better when offered the two options “buy”, “don’t buy”. Busting Myth 2: Only offer one product – or product package per page. You can have a clear (and short) menu on each page to encourage multiple purchases. Now if you got multiple options for a product or service – then give them different names or identifiers and present them separately. For example like different tiers of service “silver service” and “gold service” and so on. Always aim for small and easily understandable product or service ranges as well as being able to explain all of your products in no more than two sentences. If you can’t do that, then don’t expect your potential buyers to understand what you’re selling either. Myth 3. Everybody Needs My Product or Service OK, the reality is that most people don’t actually believe that they do need a particular product or service. Now with stuff like Iphones – your child will try and tell you they really need it as if life and death was on the line, but this is peer pressure that has been built with millions of dollars. This money spent on research into what their market wanted translated into a lot of sales. If you believe this myth then you also believe that you can succeed without doing much marketing or selling. Unfortunately, despite what some gurus will tell you – it does not happen that way. Undoubtedly there some very successful marketers around, but they will all admit that a great deal of market research, testing and reviewing of their offerings happened before they became successful. Building a successful business is hard work – most of it devoted to finding potential customers and then matching them with your products and services. Even if most people can use your product or service, you still need a focused marketing strategy to reach them and a persuasive sales message to close sales because you can bet your last dollar that where there a lots of potential buyers, there are just as many sellers, now so more than ever. Busting Myth 3: For the love of all that’s good do your research! Find out where your potential customers are, analyze their needs and what they are seeking to fulfill those needs. Search for a narrowly defined niche market where your product or service can solve a unique for buyers. Next, design your product or service around your research and these customer needs. Now you test, change and refine your product using buyer feedback. Unless you are one of the already established big shot marketers around, you’ll likely run into many myths that can cause to lose lots of time and money. Hopefully taking some of these into account will help get those big sales and better paydays. If you have anything additional to share or your own marketing myths, feel free to leave a comment. If you’re new to internet marketing then I am sure you’ve heard that 95% of people starting out fail, not exactly the most encouraging statistics. In the midst of the endless ocean of noise that is the internet not many people realize that all the techniques and ‘hacks’ you can find are useless if you don’t understand what business model makes the most sense for your business or how you are going to make money on the internet. The best internet marketing techniques won’t work if you don’t understand how to apply it to your business. With all that said, there are plenty of highly accessible ways to make money online and they still work in 2015. Three of the most accessible business models are:
1. Affiliate Marketing This is arguably the most popular method out there and definitely the most accessible one as affiliate marketing provides a good start for newbies. Just about anyone can sign up for an affiliate program (most of which are free) and start promoting the chosen product or service. Someone buys or participates in the program promoted with your link and bam, your commissions start rolling in. No risk involved on your part as you don’t’ need to worry about paying for product creation, handling customer service, internet transactions, autoresponders, etc. It’s also possible to be an affiliate without ever owning a website. Some affiliate marketing programs require little up-front investment and like I said earlier most are outright free. No surprise then that just about everyone promotes some type of affiliate program, it’s a win-win for the consumer (a valuable product) and you (a bigger bank account). If there is any reason why the internet is so proliferated with ads and banners, it’s due to affiliate programs. Now affiliate marketing is no stroll to easy street; with the millions out there involved in affiliate marketing, only about 5% ever make any money and less than makes the big bucks. Big name affiliate marketers do it different from the rest and have established years of credibility, many making a name for themselves before widespread internet adoption. Make no mistake however, you absolutely CAN make good money being an affiliate marketer and I mean good money which means focusing on minimizing your odds of failure and launching a clear, highly focused campaign. 2. Writing an eBook or other type of information product This is a great method because there are thousands of possibilities for the type of product you can create and niches you can cover as there are an abundance of niche markets you can write about. From making money online by blogging, starting your own software business, selling your homemade blankets and much more; there are endless topics to write about, some of which may not have been explored by online marketers. You don’t have to write the information yourself, you can grab a ghost writer or hire someone to produce the audio for your info product. Product authors need to invest more than affiliate marketers. Affiliates can get something for nothing, but for the eBook type of business authors need to learn about more things and spend some money to get the business going. When done right however, the payoff can be pretty big. Marketers here make great money because of the very low production and maintenance costs. Once the product is made, it doesn’t cost a dime to reproduce thousands of copies (because it’s digital of course!). Start-up costs can be covered quickly or just selling a few copies of high-margin eBooks. On top of all of that you can recruit affiliate marketers to do the selling for you. 3. Adsense I think it goes without saying that when it comes to making money online, there is no strategy more popular than the good old Google adsense. There are tons of testimonials from people making outrageous income from adsense. Adsense is Google’s advertising program wherein webmasters display ads from Google’s extensive list of advertisers. Unobtrusive text-based ads are served in member sites, who then earn a commission every time someone clicks on the advertisers’ links. Google Adsense uses a technology to deliver ads that are highly relevant to the content of a page. Google’s engine will scan through the content of the page to determine its topic, and will then serve ads that are relevant to the page’s content. Running Google Adsense is simple, first thing is to build a website full of content of your desired niche or topic, and then register in Google’s adsense program. Once (or if) you’re approved, you then paste a code in your page, and the ads start appearing immediately after you upload the changes to your server. Google is hush on how it shares the revenue per click with their partners, but how much you will earn per click depends on the topic and the product being advertised. Products with profit margins of $10 for the advertiser will most likely give you a smaller pay per click than a product with a $100 margin, simple math really. Similarly, ads with high conversion rates will normally give you higher payouts than less effective ads, since they can afford to pay more dollars per click, with a portion of that money going to you. These are the top 3 most popular online business models today. No matter which model you choose, make sure you understand the basics and do your homework, this always bears repeating. Stop buying courses or information that doesn’t make sense your business. Information overload can stop you before you even get started so set your plan straight and take action. If you have any additional experiences to share or if any of these methods proved very successful to you, then feel free to leave a comment. Over the past few years internet marketing has grown rapidly, seeing more and more success stories pop up over the net. As more internet based businesses are being established, you need to constantly be in the know concerning trends and developing new marketing skills to keep up and stay ahead of the internet business world.
As such, the demand for internet marketing tips and techniques have grown massively to accommodate this demand and new, innovative strategies are born every year; but one of the most popular and tried-and-true is opt-in email marketing, or permission marketing. This technique can spread the word about your site’s subsistence in a cost free and effective manner. Opt-in marketing requires the permission of the customer before you are given the green light to send and promote any marketing materials or offers, usually delivered via email. The more targeted opt-in marketing mail is sent, the more chances there are to generate higher sales. To do this, you must build a list of folks who are interested in your niche and content and wants to subscribe to you. From your list with the correct strategies, you get targeted customers which is great since they’ve already shown interest in what you have to sell since they’ve willingly signed in for your list. These are people who have liked the content on your site or saw the value you delivered and decided they want to see more and even purchase whatever product or service your site has to offer. The common sentiment among many is that building your list is rather difficult and takes a lot of time to build. That’s partially true, it’s easy to build any list but what you want is to build a targeted list. You don’t want to ignore building a list for your business as an opt-in, targeted list can do wonders for your business and profits. There are thousands of articles on the internet when it comes to building a list and you can definitely fall into a slump over the information overload due to many ways you can go about it. Despite that, there are a few crucial things you need to keep in mind when working to build a list and here are four of them: 1. A strong web form It’s very important to have a web form on your site because, well, how would your followers sign up? A good web form for subscribing to an opt-in list is pretty simple. Just write a simple short statement about how they would like to see more and get updated about the site, or tell them about what you can offer them (throw in a free bonus if you like). Preferably make sure it stands out and is easily accessible to the reader on the page and a snazzy headline is a bonus. There should be an area where they could put in their names and e-mail address. This web form will automatically save and send you the data’s inputted. As more people sign in, your list grows. 2. A clean website with strong content Having a great web form is fantastic, but that means jack if you have nothing to offer or you have something to offer but the site’s ease of use is bad. As a rule of thumb, always make it as easy as possible for the end-user to navigate your site and don’t expect everyone to be tech savvy. Depending on your niche, you’ll have to appeal to your visitors in different ways but generally well written articles and useful, unique content will always woo a few visitors. If you want to add some flair, don’t go overboard with your graphics, when in doubt clean and accessible is your best bet. 3. Good service and better products Provide good service and products because a return customer is more likely to bring in more business and recommend your business to others. Word of mouth is an extremely powerful tool and that along with recommendations can rake in a lot of profits for your business. As your clientele grows so shall your list. More people on your list, more outreach and a chance for more sales. Pro-tip, be authentic in what you offer, the money is fine no doubt but if you deliver genuine value that visitors find useful that increases your chance for returning customers as well as bigger profits, a win-win for both sides of the exchange. 4. Keep it honest Never lose the trust your customers have entrusted you. While you can provide your e-mail list to others (known as ad swaps or selling via solo ads) make sure you have an idea of the expectations set by your list and that your initial opt-in pitch lines up with what you want to do with that list. Remember, you don’t want your subscribers to get spammed because that means they’ll likely unsubscribe to you. Remember, a good reputation will drive in more traffic and subscribers as well as strengthen the loyalty of your customers. There are numerous benefits to building a highly targeted, profitable list. Never more so now with mass potential of the internet and with as many people online as ever presents a unique opportunity to take your internet business to the next level. That said, building a targeted list takes a bit of work but in the end the investment can very be worth it. There are a lot of strategies, but make sure you utilize only those that makes sense for your business. If you have anything additional share, or other essential things to add in building your list, feel free to leave a comment. Quick update to let know due to a issue with my other site I'll be moving content to this site for the time being.
The most popular question asked by many online marketers is how to drive more traffic to their websites. The answer to this question in broad terms is easy; Get your website exposed to as many internet surfers as possible. Once people can find your website, there will be traffic flow into your website. Now successfully getting your website in front of the right traffic (targeted traffic) is no easy task. Effort, smart strategy and techniques need to put in place in order to raise for your chances for success. Below are four common online marketing techniques used by most online marketers to drive internet traffic to their websites:
1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Successful search engine optimization will greatly increase the number of visitors that come to your website since over 60% of people who are looking for products and services use search engines to locate them. If your website is ranked high in the related keyword search by the search engines, you will get tons of free internet traffic to your website. One of the ways to optimize your website to be search engines friendly is by generating back links from other websites to your website. When websites provide a link to your site, the search engines deem your site as valuable and this affects your position in the listings. This is most effective when your site is backlinked from authority sites, major websites in your niche. However know that this can take a good deal of time before your site really picks up. 2. Article Writing Articles is a great tool for online marketing. It helps in SEO by generating back links to your website as well as getting exposure through your articles’ hyperlinks and building authority in your niche. By writing short articles on the topic related to your website, products or services, you can offer these articles for other website owners or newsletter publishers to use by submitting them to article directories, forums or blogs. When the publishers use your articles in their ezines or websites, the articles will be posted with your bio information that has links to your website at the bottom of your articles, which means again the publishers will contribute their link from their site to yours. These back links are counted in SEO. Now, visitors read your article and can follow you back to your site if they want to know more about your products or services. 3. Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising Pay Per Click is advertising provided by the search engine providers (Google, Bing and others) where you pay for top placement in their search results. It is based on a bid system where most search engines give top positions to the highest bidder. It is a fast way to have your ad on the first page of the keyword search as listed in the search engines. Thing is though, you have to pay for every click to your website which means it can get expensive pretty fast if you’re inexperienced. Make a budget, stick to it and make sure to monitor your account, those clicks add up fast. 4. Affiliate Marketing An affiliate program can also drive traffic to your website. Your affiliates are your commissions-based sales people who make money when they sell your products or services. They drive traffic to your web site in exchange for commissions on sales. If you don’t want to manage your affiliates yourself, you could subscribe to affiliate network such as Clickbank if your products are digital items. Clickbank marketplace is able to expose your products to thousands of affiliates who are looking for products to sell online. The core of any internet business is targeted traffic, without it the business dies. If you’re thinking about starting an online business or have been chipping away for a while with not results, it’s time for you to work out a marketing plan to get traffic to your site. The 4 methods above are time tested and proven online marketing techniques that can help you drive to your site. Make sure to choose the method(s) that best suits your business and budget.
